• Scholarship Information

    If you are interested in applying to scholarships, there are a few things to keep in mind. First off, it is free money for college or career school that does not have to be paid back. Many scholarships don't come easy and require time and energy. There are merit based (GPA, ACT, awards based) & scholarships based on financial need and other criteria.  You can apply for as many scholarships as you'd like and you can even google specific keywords. 

    You can use keywords like:

    -Scholarships for Nursing/Social Work/Teachers/Psychology/etc.

    - Scholarships for Baptist/Southern Baptists/Catholics/Jewish/Islamic/Buddhist etc.

    - Scholarships for First Generation Student (if you're the first in your family to go to college) 

    -Scholarships for students who are of a specific heritage

    - Scholarships for ANYTHING YOU THINK OF!

     

    We will post CCHS specific scholarships on this page, but be sure to look on your Schoology course labeled College and Career for more opportunities from our Career Coach. We will also include a few sites to help get you started on your scholarship search!
