Math Team
If you like math and enjoy being challenged, we want you to join the MJHS Math Team!
Benefits of Math Team:
- Extra practice for your math class
- Looks great on scholarship applications
- Prepares you for the ACT (which could mean $ for college)
- We have fun!
Expectations of Math Team:
- After school practice once a week. We know you may have conflicts and are willing to work with you!
- Saturday Tournaments. We usually try to attend 6 tournaments throughout the school year. You will be asked to sign up for any tournaments you will be able to attend.
At Mortimer Jordan we have three math teams:
- Geometry
- Algebra 2
- Comprehensive (Algebra 1 through PreCalculus)
